Salamone Builders Safety Overview

These are some of the ways Salamone Builders have improved our safety rating over the years:

• Outside safety consultants visit our jobsites on a monthly basis and rate the safety of our employees in the following areas:
  • Tool Box Talks
  • First Aid Boxes
  • Equipment
    • Ladders/Scaffolding
    • Fall Protection
    • Electrical Equipment    
• All our Foreman have been OSHA Certified
• A safety bonus program for all our Foreman
• Weekly Tool Box talks presented on our jobsites
• Fall Protection Plan
• Monthly Foreman meeting where Safety Issues are discussed
• All our Foreman have been trained in CPR
• All injured employees are required to submit to a drug/alcohol test
• All potential new hires are given a physical to ensure they are fit to work at their intended position
• A representative of our firm visits the jobsites and talks to the employees about the tool box talks, safety issues and their personal feeling of safety on the jobsite and rewards employees for their input and answers with a small gift card.
• All employees are shown a video of our company safety policy and are also given the safety policy in paper format at their time of hire.
